catch of the day ~~ first florida fish

Yesterday, Gene rode his bike down to Bunch Beach and out on the flats of San Carlos Bay and did a little fishing. Not much later, he caught this 15 inch sea trout with an artificial shrimp lure. Catch and release for this trout, we had rice and beans for dinner instead!

Looks like some of the trout I caught at Alpine lake. When is the lake going to be stocked again? I have a freezer full but by march they will be gone.
