just some things that happened this week...

- Young anglers at the cove this week  

- You may have noticed the ice cream place in Oakland is closed. Word on the street is a Walgreen's is being built in its place.

- Gene played in a pro am and won some $$$ Monday.
   Great swing, Gene!  

- Did you know PO's and PO guests play mini golf at no charge?
 
- Friday was a picture perfect day for mini-golf 

- About 300 folks enjoyed the beautiful weather at the bluegrass festival.

    What a sight! A military convoy was spotted in the compound Sunday

- A Ledo's Pizza just opened at the Deep Creek. They are right on 219.

- Wednesday, both a sailboat and a windsurfer were seen on the lake.
      

- Paul & Cathy's veggie garden looks amazing. Bet they are less than 2 weeks   away from red, ripe, delish tomatoes.

- Several property owners enjoyed an evening picnic at the beach
                           

- Did you know PO's may rent the beach pavilion at no charge during the week?
    Hmmmmm... I just found out! Call the front desk to reserve it.
