in BG, Gary and his family are in & Ben and Inge have a house full of relatives.
-Two wonderful friends celebrated birthdays this last week

Happy birthday to Grace July 2 and Sue July 5

- July 4th was rainy at alpine, not a surprise! We've had rain for the last 20 days in a row!
-Got a chance to chat with Gunner,    what a fascinating fella!
If you see him around the compound in his buckskin or military garb, make sure to say 'hi'!

- Sunday bags are now available in the pro shop at a fantastic price...
limited stock so check 'em out this week!

-Carl and Gerda's granddaughter was chosen to paint a mural in Salisbury, MD.
The unveiling was attended by local dignitaries, C&G (of course) and was covered by a television reporter. Congrats Melissa!

- Quite a few inflatable kayaks were on the lake Saturday evening. Those
look like fun!

- One heck of a storm on Monday... must have rained a few inches in an hour or two.

- The fawns around the compound are getting bigger ~ here are twins in
my backyard. Several PO's have reported triplets in Bavarian!
