a week around the compound ~~ 6/18 - 6/24

------------------------------------------
a recap of last week...

------------------------------------------------------

- Here's Missy meeting Buckwheat & Biscuit for the first time

- Congratulations to Bill Beck for winning the President' Cup this weekend!

-   I know, it's a bad picture. But I did finally read the directions for my camera on how to take pictures in the dark. BTW, the small bear ruined one bird feeder and was going after the other one. Now the feeders come in at night.

- Here's some dear, I mean deer, friends ...

- Frank & Gene enjoyed a good round of golf on Saturday, both shooting in the 70's. Maybe this is Frank's year to win the Club Championship. The following day, Vickie joined them for a round of golf. It's now officially the 'Summer of Frank'.

- Bayer Essentials is moving along nicely...

-  some of the goodies from the market

- Saturday evening was a little busy at the refurbished miniature golf course.
First Diana beat Gene two games, then Paula tried her luck.

Ran into some young fishermen at the lake the other day.

-Gene and I were taking a walk when....
one of our neighbors gave me this gift. THANKS!
Birches Garden rocks!

- Went on the course and snapped this picture during Gene's practice swing on #10

- Met up with Carol & Mic at the pavilion to catch up. A beautiful place to sit and chat with great friends. Check out the two pics below...
   before...     and after...

- Another 2500 visitors to the blog this week. That sure is a lot!

- And closing with another snapshot of the lake
