Hi there, I just finished The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini-very good! Also,I can recommend Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and The Appeal by John Grisham. Reading is my favorite past time. I don't know if Alpine has a bring a book, take a book area in the lodge but it would be a nice idea. I would be able to donate on a regular basis! Reply to this

I'm reading the The Kite Runner now and even though I am only a third of the way, it is very good. I read Eat, Pray and Love last month and didn't care for it and I was disappointed since I heard so many great things about it. I just started to read a lot in the last 8 months and love it! I work with someone who also did not care for Eat, Pray, Love. She started it but never finished it. I guess I thought how cool that she just could take off on a trip of discovery and come away better for it. Reply to this

For all of you who have not found our "free" library, please check out the book cases in the Rhododendrum room. There is a case filled with books for you to take - no check out system - and return at your liesure. Also, you can drop off books to add to the collection. And there is a nice book case of children' books as well. Enjoy! Reply to this
