DIANA-logue ~~ life lessons
------------------------------------------
This year, I turned 41 years old. There are many life lessons we all learn...here are a few of mine. Please feel free to add your own.
BTW, my life lessons have come from many sources.
ENJOY...
*Things change~ good things change and bad things change. We should be thankful for that!
*Pay no attention to boundaries~ rivers and mountains certainly don't!
*Karma is one mean woman.
*Show appreciation to the people who bring you happiness.

ENJOY...
* Life's short... buy the damn shoes!
*Do more listening than talking. This one is hard for me! LOL!
*Have respect for others.
*Things change~ good things change and bad things change. We should be thankful for that!
*Living in a big house and driving a fancy car does not mean you've got it made.
*I prefer living in a small house rather than a large one.
*Pay no attention to boundaries~ rivers and mountains certainly don't!
*People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.
*Have your own opinions and let others have theirs..makes life more interesting.
*Karma is one mean woman.
*Find your joy and go there.
*Refuse to allow negative people into your life.
*Show appreciation to the people who bring you happiness.
*Happiness can't be found~ it can only be made.
* You don't need to figure people out. Give them time and they will show you who they are.

I have just three principles I try to live by:
Follow your passion - in other words, try to do that which you really love. For me now that I am retired, it describes how much I love to paint and share my love of painting with others.
To thine own self be true - my mother repeatedly said this to me - to always be just who I really am, not whom someone else thought I should be.
Play nice in the sandbox. This is not my saying - but it really is who I am. I want to always be thoughtful of the other person and when necessary, try for peace at any price! It speaks to my innate need for that which is fair and kind and mindful of the needs of others.
