Hooray for Spring! I know it's here because: the tree frogs are singing their peeper chorus, the beaver is busy going back and forth at the north end of the lake, a big fat robin was sited on a tree branch on the lake's edge, the mallards are nesting, the geese are back along with the coots, wildflowers are popping up everywhere, the fishermen, women and children are casting their lines from the shore and I've got the itch to go outside and start cleaning up winter's mess. Won't be long now before we see some of our diehard kayakers and canoeers gliding across the lake.
